🤝 Apple is reportedly considering the acquisition of Perplexity AI - LINK
Apple is in talks to buy Perplexity AI, a startup known for its smart search engine, to boost its AI capabilities. The deal could reduce Apple’s reliance on others like Google and OpenAI.
If the acquisition happens, Apple could add real-time, context-aware search to tools like Siri and Spotlight. Perplexity handles over 780 million searches monthly and is valued at $14 billion
This move shows Apple wants to catch up in AI, grabbing both talent and tech. They're still in early stages and may just partner instead of buying.

🗣️ Google tests real-time AI voice chats in Search - LINK
Google is testing Search Live, a voice-chat version of Search's AI Mode, letting you speak and search back and forth in real time. It’s rolling out to US Labs users and will later add camera support.
In this mode, users get audio responses and suggested links, and can continue chatting naturally. Even while switching apps, the chat stays live, with transcripts saved in history.
This is part of Google’s push to make Search more like a helpful conversation, and will soon include more features like camera input and Deep Search tools.

This marks a step toward more immersive AI, though it's facing copyright issues from Disney and Universal.
